“ Koji Club is a brilliant lowkey spot in Brighton that you must visit! They opened recently and have a wide range of Sake options. Our waitresses (Claire and Alyssa) were phenomenal they were so knowledgeable about the Sakes aswell as being great at their jobs. The Drunken Whale was our favourite of the night! You must try it! ”
“ Somehow haven't reviewed the club despite going 2-3x monthly, sorry Alyssa. Anyway, here's my long overdue review: its my favorite bar in the whole world. The staff, the regulars, the sake, the food, the ambiance, what's not to love, it's literally the best. I have met great friends here and wish them continued success in 2025 and beyond! ”
“ We had a phenomenal experience for our anniversary at The Koji Club. I would highly recommend a reservation for those considering stopping by because it's an intimate space. During the warmer months, guests are able to sit outside on their patio, located in the courtyard space of the Charles River Speedway. The staff are friendly and able to answer questions as well as provide recommendations. We really enjoyed Candy's Cukes for a perfect snack with our drinks. I highly recommend anyone curious about sake or Japense whiskey to try out this hidden gem! ”
“ Liz and Adam(?) were great hosts and bartenders that helped me and fellow guests figure out what type of sake they might want to explore. I was lucky to sit near either an employee or a friend of the bar who also gave recommendations, meaning everyone who works or visits this place is eager to share their favorites and good experiences with sake. Small but very cozy, very comfortable for a solo dine out! ”
“ My wife and I love sake. We were thrilled that Koji Club opened and couldn't wait to get there. Koji Club is everything and more that we wanted! Alyssa was great to chat with and her staff was amazing!! Absolutely love that you can taste before getting a bottle and that everything is also served by the glass. We had a killer bottle of Dragon God with their cavar and a bag of seaweed flavored potato chips. A really fun pairing. It was such a great date night with my wife. We will be going back soon! ”
“ Came for Valentine’s Day— really enjoyed the experience. It’s a small bar with lovely drinks & small bites. The host is super friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks. Would recommend the pink sake!! It was phenomenal. ”
“ Best bar experience I’ve had in Boston, hands down. Mellow Saturday night, we sat at the bar with just two other groups. The space, though small, was thoughtfully designed—intimate without feeling cramped. It evoked the charm of those hidden sake bars tucked away in Ginza, Tokyo. Moe, our bartender, tailored the entire experience to our preferences, crafting a journey that felt personal and immersive. After a few rounds, we trusted her completely and asked for her favorites—2 Grain and Ine Mankai—both of which became instant favorites for us as well. Also really loved the Saltine service (green pepper miso cream cheese combo was so addictive) and I ended up getting a mini onigiri with that irresistable green pepper miso. ”
“ I can’t even begin to express how much I enjoyed my experience here. It was truly unforgettable, with the best sake I’ve ever had. The passion and dedication are evident in every detail. If you are new to the world of sake or haven’t had a good experience with sake, give them a chance. They know what they are doing and they’ll come up with the best recommendations. The cozy and intimate atmosphere made it feel like a special occasion. I also loved the soba cha they offered. It’s remarkable how they manage to achieve so much in such a small space. I am truly impressed and wish them nothing but the best for their business. ”
